The IIT JEE Main 2018 application forms for will be available from December 1, 2017 as per recent update on the official CBSE website jeemain.nic.in. The JEE Main 2018 application form filling process will start on 1st December 2017 and will continue until January 1, 2018, last date of form submission.
The JEE Main 2018 application forms are accepted only through online mode. Also, it’s mandatory for the applicant to have the Aadhaar Card to apply for the exam. It is required to fill the Aadhaar Card number in the JEE Main application which will be then verified through UIDAI’s data for Date of Birth and other details. In case any student doesn’t have a Aadhaar card, it time that they apply for one through UIDAI’s website https://uidai.gov.in/.
The top 1.8 – 2 lakh students who qualifies JEE Main 2018 can register for IIT JEE Advance. The admission to NIT’s and other top engineering colleges is given on the basis of JEE Mains score. There is a second paper(optional) for the students interested in architecture, candidates appearing for this exam can apply to architecture colleges in India along with engineering colleges.
As announced previously by CBSE, JEE Mains 2018 will be conducted online- computer based as well as offline – pen and paper. The student can opt for exam mode of his/her choice.
The JEE Main 2018 offline exam will be conducted on 8th April, 2018 and the online exam will be conducted on 15th and 16th April, 2018. The option of writing the exam online is well received by lot of students and teachers, who think that online exam will save time and prevent the students from making mistakes made while filling OMR and ensure that paper is submitted on time.
