Admissions to the first year engineering courses in Maharashtra will be on the basis of MHT CET 2018. Candidates who wish to seek admission in various colleges and universities inn BE/B.Tech courses must appear for the Common Entrance Examination. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai will be the in-charge for conducting the whole process of admission for First Year Engineering courses 2018-2019.
MHT CET 2018 is the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for BE/B.Tech, B.Pharma, Pharma. D courses, the MHT CET 2018 examination will be conducted on the 10th of May 2018 in all the districts of Maharashtra. DTE will be conducting a total of twelve examinations for admission to various UG/PG courses across Maharashtra. Out of these courses only MHT CET will be conducted in an offline manner (Pen/Paper) rest all the other exams will be conducted in an online manner i.e. Computer based examination.
