IIT - JEE (Class XI-XII)
Focus:
The focus of the program is to provide students with a balanced preparation of Boards, IIT-JEE Main and Advanced, CET, BITSAT and other Engineering Entrance Exams. In order to perform well in the JEE exam, students are given the best study materials, guidance from graduates of top engineering colleges, and an environment where they can flourish. The JEE exam has only become more and more competitive through the years. This program ensures that through regular rounds of JEE mock tests and our All India Test Series, every student’s performance is tracked. It is ensured that each student gets proper support for constant improvement and complete understanding of the exam format. With small, engaging batches and expert guidance, every student’s class time and study time can be utilised to its fullest. There is a strong focus on conceptual understanding, so that no matter what the exam format, our students are able to apply concepts to excel.

NEET (Class XI-XII)
Focus:
The focus of the program is to provide students with a balanced preparation of Boards, NEET and other medical entrance exams. In order to perform well in the NEET exam, students are given the best study materials, guidance from graduates of top science colleges, and an environment where they can flourish.
The emphasis is to make students familiar with problem-solving techniques. Apart from this, their performance is regularly tracked on the Chapter test and All India major tests, giving a clear insight on where they stand at the country level. It is ensured that each student gets proper support for constant improvement and complete understanding of the exam format. Foundation – Boards/NTSE (Class VIII-X)
Focus:

Avanti Learning Centres in Hubli has created tremendous results in a short span of 3-years with the selection rate of 40% in IIT JEE (Main). Avanti is the only coaching in Hubli with teachers from the IITs and NITs and with a national footprint with 75 Centres in 12 states. We are the first and most successful national coaching player for IIT-JEE/NEET and Entrance Exam Foundation preparation in Hubli.
We operate 2 centres in Hubli. In just 2 years we have already produced Hubli-Dharwad’s best IIT JEE result in 2017, a top 100 rank in KVPY and several students who have topped their schools with 10 CGPA in class 10.

Aim for the IITs, NITs and Top National Medical Colleges
Hubli is known as the education hub of North Karnataka. Despite this very few students are able to gain admission to the best Engineering and Medical colleges in India. IIT Dharwad just opened its doors and our aim is to ensure that the bulk of its admissions are filled by our students from North Karnataka.
Avanti has partnered with reputed names like KLE, Deshpande Foundation and Vidyaposhak to help students in Hubli aim higher and compete with top students across India. In our very first year we produced Hubli’s top JEE rank and a selection in KVPY. We aim for hundreds more in the coming years.

Akshay Saxena
He was awarded the Draper Richards Kaplan Fellowship and Echoing Green Fellowship in 2012 for his work at Avanti. Before starting Avanti, Akshay served on the founding team of HeartFlow, a medical diagnostics company. Akshay graduated from IIT Bombay with a degree in Chemical Engineering and was enrolled in the MBA program at Harvard Business School.

Ashwin Krishnan
Prior to joining Avanti, Ashwin completed a two-year fellowship with Teach For India. After the fellowship, he also led the Mumbai Alumni Chapter of Teach for India. He graduated from IIT Bombay with a Mechanical Engineering degree and a minor degree in Management.

Small Batches and Individual Attention
Avanti has a batch size of 25-30 which enables us to give individual attention to each and every student. Individual learning plans are designed and tracked for each student based on aspirations and academic level
Customized Goal Setting
Our success is determined by the performance of each and every student and not only our top ranks at the JEE and NEET. Every student is equally important to us. At the beginning of the year, we set a “Stretch Goal” for each student. This is based on our diagnostic test and the student’s performance in class. For some, this could be a State Engineering/Medical College, for others it could be the NDA exam and for some, it would be the NITs, IITs or AIIMS.
The students’ in-class participation and test scores. is tracked regularly. The child undergoes rigorous yet balanced entrance exam training. As the students make progress, the “Stretch Goal” is changed to match his current performance. These realistic goals help us to coach the student for success without putting excessive pressure on the student.
Focus on Self-Study and Group Learning
At Avanti we give great importance to self-study and in developing self-reliant learner. At the same time, our classrooms are structured such that our students work in groups on certain sets of problems and are asked engage in group discussions with their peers to come out with the best problem-solving methods for some of the toughest questions.
Learning Materials created by IIT/NIT alumni
Avanti’s curriculum is created by experts from IIT/NIT. Each homework exercise contains questions distributed according to level of difficulty and contains large collection of questions to practice concepts learnt in the class.
How the Class is Structured
Students are required to read over concepts at home from the best selection of resources handpicked by IIT and Harvard alumni.
Students have a quick 5min test where what they have studied as preparation for class is recapped. The facilitator is then able to ascertain how much the students have understood from the pre class work.
Students are shown videos that explain key concepts from every topic, these videos are recorded by subject experts.
ConcepTests comprise of questions that test how well students have understood the concepts explained in the videos.
Students solve questions of different difficulty levels in-class, followed by group discussions where students discuss their solutions and doubts with their peers. The teacher in their class conducts one-on-one sessions with the students where they resolve doubts that students have on topics covered in the week
Students are given extensive question banks to practice at home to help improve their weaker skills.
