The program initiated by Government of Jammu & Kashmir with support from CHINAR International & Avanti is aimed at helping students from Jammu & Kashmir enter into top-engineering and medical colleges in India by providing them access to quality education free of cost. 50 students each for engineering and medical entrance exams (IIT-JEE/NEET and the likes) are selected through an entrance test for each of the 11 centers spread across 10 districts of Kashmir. These students are then coached in an intensive crash course from December to April/May by subject experts chosen from the existing set of government teachers in the state.
