Junior Science Talent Search Examination or JSTSE is conducted by Science Branch of Education, Delhi in the month of January every year. 150 scholarships are allotted every year under JSTSE. Any student from a recognised school (Govt. /Govt. Aided/Public/KV/Navodaya/NDMC) in Delhi, currently in std. 9th and has secured minimum 65% marks in Std. 8th can apply for JSTSE. The exam will be held in the month of January, 2018. The result for the JSTSE is declared usually after 6-8 weeks after the examination. Last year the result for JSTSE was declared in the month of March 2017.

Important facts
- Junior Science Talent Search Examination (JSTSE) is an examination for the 9th standard students. This exam will test your skills in the General Knowledge, General Science and Mathematics.
- Every year 150 scholarships are allotted based on the JSTSE written test.
- No personal interview are held. The sole criterion to secure the scholarship is the JSTSE written test.
- Last year the JSTSE was held on the 29th of January 2017 and subsequently the results were declared in March 2017.

Rewards and Scholarships
Every year 150 scholarships and certificates are awarded to the top 150 students by the Directorate of Education. The candidates would be selected on the basis of the marks secured in the JSTSE.
JSTSE Application process
JSTSE Application can be done through your respective schools. There is no individual application process. Also, note that no fees would be charged for the application. Read more about the application process here.
JSTSE Admit Card
- The JSTSE admit cards will be allotted to students by their respective schools tentatively in January 2018.
- Applicants have to bring their admit cards on the day on the examination and the admit card should be signed by the Head of School.
- The roll numbers would be allotted by the Science Branch of Education and would be shared with the school through post.
JSTSE Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The JSTSE Exam consists of two sections; 1) General Knowledge and 2) General Science and Mathematics.
