KCET Result 2017 was announced on May 30th 2017 for all those candidates who appeared for the entrance exam on May 2 and 3. The KCET result 2017 was announced in an online mode. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), has also published the list of qualified candidates along with their merit ranks. On the basis of the KCET result, the candidates will be able to apply for the counselling process. Next step after checking the KCET Result
After the declaration of the result, students will also be able to check their merit, which will be prepared on the basis of the KCET Result 2017 and on the marks scored in the qualifying Class 12th Examination. On the basis of KCET 2017 Merit list, students will be called for the document verification process followed by a state level KCET 2017 Counselling process, in which the students will be allotted seats as per their names in the merit list. The KCET Counselling is likely to commence in the second week of June 2017.
KCET 2017 Eligibility Criterion
The eligibility criterion for the candidates is to pass the class 12th or equivalent examination as recognised by the state or central education board. The compulsory subjects in the qualifying examination include Mathematics and Physics. The optional subjects are as follows Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biology. It is necessary for the students to have English as one of the subjects. The minimum aggregate percent required in the qualifying examination is 45%.
Candidates can buy the application form from the college premises or authorities. Candidates are supposed to fill the form and apply left hand thumb impression on the form. During the process students must enter all the particulars using a black or blue ball pen only. And once the process is completed candidates can submit the form back to the school or college. It is advised that the Candidates abide by the deadline prescribed by the exam conducting authorities. Also, the prescribed fee must be paid by the candidates.
