Important Chapters for NEET – NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test), formerly known as AIPMT, is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is a national level examination which is responsible for the admission into MBBS and BDS courses. After qualifying this examination, you will be eligible to seek admission in various medical and dental colleges across the country. The examination has 180 questions spanning from Physics, Chemistry and Biology of Std 11th and 12th. Here we bring you some important chapters and the corresponding weightages of the same.

Chapter-wise Weightage
NEET is one of the two toughest medical entrance examinations. Here is a detailed analysis on the important chapters for NEET examination:
1. Biology – Important Chapters for NEET
The following table shows topic wise weightage of the question paper for NEET 2016. From the table we can see that the Biological Classification had a major chunk of the questions, those being 9 out of 90. There were topics like digestion, absorption etc. which had considerably lesser weightage, but you should bear in mind that these are scoring questions which you shouldn’t ignore. It is a very high possibility that the topic-wise weightage for the NEET exam would be on the similar lines as previous years.
