NEET Exam Syllabus – NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is a national level examination which is responsible for the admission into MBBS and BDS courses. After qualifying this examination, you will be eligible to seek admission in various medical and dental colleges across the country. The examination conducting authority, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) releases the NEET exam syllabus. The NEET exam syllabus is prepared by reviewing syllabi of various state boards as well as that prepared by the CBSE, Council Board of School Education (COBSE) and National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT). The NEET exam syllabus also incorporates recommendations from the Medical Council of India (MCI) and it is strictly based on the chapters and subjects taught in the 10+2 (HSC) level. Note: AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test) has been replaced by NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). Difference between both the exams is AIPMT was conducted for only 15% All India Quota seats while NEET is conducted for 100% medical seats of which 15% is for All India Quota and 85% is for state quota.
